Well Done! Bow fishing looks pretty interesting as i love hunting and fishing.....

@Pro Hunting Safaris once you try it you will be hooked (no pun intended). I spent years when I was younger shooting carp. It is a great time, and if you stalk carp on foot from the bank, it is quite a challenge. This reminds me, I really need to rebuild my reel and restring my recurve..

You need to get on that river , I think near Chicago, that has so many of the damn things in it that they jump in the boat! I understand that the vibrations from the boat motor causes them to jump out of the water. Not exactly sure where the river is but you and your bow would be of a great service!

Enjoy this video .... maybe next year we will make this trip .

Instead of using bows on that river, can I use a Benelli semi with 9 round tube and 3000 rounds of steel no4 shot. I think I can help with the carp population. I'd at least be happy to try.:W Cal 50:

Yep I'm thinking my Browning Semi Auto!

Now your talking man!

2 more at Meaford .... forgot my camera !

Always loved hunting carp on foot like that. I'm surprised you have a season on carp.
Not that we have a season on carp ... it's the act of bowfishing that is seasoned . Carp can be caught all year with out limits with rod and reel ..... I have know idea the reason .

Anybody seen the show with Tiffany Lokosky shooting those carp while wearing a bikini? :)

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
