    We tend to do this in USA! I use a 375Ruger for elk and backup is a 300 H&H.

    I find less blood shot meat from a larger caliber going slower then a smaller caliber going higher velocities. Used my 375 Ruger on a damage control mule deer doe hunt, had less blood shot meat on it then the 4pt. mule deer buck with the 270wsm.

    Eric, I have found Alliant RL17 powder works really well in my 375 Ruger Guide Gun. I use it with two different bullets. 78.5grs. of RL17 with a Nosler 300gr.     Woodleigh Bullets 375 Ruger Load Data?

    I reload a Woodleigh 350gr. PP with 73.0grs of RL17 powder in my 375 Ruger Guide Gun 20" barrel, average chronographed velocity is 2390fps with 1'group. I also load a 300gr. Nosler Accubond with 78.5gr. of RL17 powder that chronographed 2590fps 1/2" group.
