After 3 long days of hunting unsuccessfully for a good Eland, I shot this bull. Werner, at Motshwere Safaris told me that it was big enough that it should place in the records but I was thinking he tells all of his hunters this to make them feel good about their animals but after getting the SCI scores back, 89 4/8 puts it tied at # 7 ever shot with a crossbow.
Note; the lumenok glowing on the crossbow bolt, still brightly burning by the time we got to him.
