Blaser pics are so spectacular (and a little fantasy) and they keep the fire burning in us.

The thing I like the most about these videos is that they capture the essence of hunting. All the emotion and the feeling of being there. It makes it like you are there with them. Maybe I'm on my own on this but hunting is a very emotional experience for me and it always has been. I'm not to proud to say that I've teared up a few times under certain circumstances. I hope I never loose that emotion. If I do I'll probably stop hunting. For me it's about the chase and matching wits with a post mature warrior. Hunting him honorably and humanly. I love it. I get goose bumps just thinking of it.

WOW - both videos get me going. Had seen the buff video, but first time seeing the stag. Love the beginning and unbelievable cinematography!

Thanks for sharing.

Hey Gizmo,

your words-like a essay-wonderful.
Both films are absolutley awesome and I can't get enough from them.
In autmn I go to red deer rut in the Karpaten.
A wild mountain area in Eastern Europe.I count every day since September/Oktober.
The main difference for me between your Elk and our "Rothirsch" is his voice in the rut.
Like a Lion in the Matabele grounds - roaring thunderstorms.

I'm a absolute passionate buffalo hunter ,but a good rut in the mountains is
breathtaking,is mystical and magic.

These are fine videos. High Quality for sure!

Nothing like the bulls in the rut, roaring or bugling. One day I hope to hear that roar in person.

Very well done stories. Nothing like HD to bring up the details.

just breath-taking....want to go hunting right now!!!!

Thanks and good luck. In June of 2016 I have a Romanian Roe deer hunt booked. I'm looking forward to that and seeing the mountains as well. I wanted to experience old world Europe so it sounded like the thing to do.

Gizmo,
good weather and no wolves in our area.
Be sure, than, we have fantastic days.
;)

I realize how hard the bug has bit. I’m on the cusp of safari #2 and I’m looking to plan #3 with my 11 year old a year from now while looking at my work schedule for overtime and computing the math of how many shifts are needed….

I'd like to get some too.

My wife (a biologist, like me) had to have a melanoma removed from her arm last fall.

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?
