Folks, need to fill some gaps in my schedule and can offer the following.

Martin Pieters Safaris
Omay, Zambezi Valley Zimbabwe 2015

for those of you who don't know me, I have operated Zimbabwe and Botswana for 21 years and have been exclusively hunting the Omay north and south for several years. This area is vast and remote and offers true hunters and varied bag of trophies from lion, buffalo, leopard, hippo, crocodile, elephant to plains game out of one large concession.

I have the following hunts available

7 day trophy buffalo bull $ 12 200
7 day buffalo/ hippo $ 15 500
7 day buffalo/ crocodile $ 16 000
7 day hippo/ crocodile $ 16 000

The above hunts include

Daily rates for 7 full hunting days
Trophy fees for listed species
Transfers by road into and out of Bulawayo, Harare or Victoria Falls
Taxes
VAT
Dip/ pack

I have various openings, email me with any questions.

Buff/ croc or buff/ hippo would be a whole lot of fun

Good offers Martin. I hope you can fill those gaps.

Nice Martin..

All three would be even better Gizmo! If I had to choose Two it would be Buff/Croc.

Yep me too..

Such a good deal!!! really interested!! Dates in Aug???

I'll be with Martin for A dangerous game safari 1 year from next week. Can't wait!

I was in Kyrgyzstan in November for the ibex hunt. My first foray into Asia and it was really good. The hunt was really hard and high altitude. I rode horseback and climbed at altitudes up to near 13,000'. It was very hard to breathe for this Texas boy out to conquer the mountain! I got real dehydrated and if my guides not pushed me I would never have gotten to this big boy. I was so tired as we got to where we could look at them and take a shot I laid in the snow and gave my bins to my guide to use. I just rested for more than 5 minutes without moving even though I had flown to the other side of the world for this moment. After catching my breath I missed one and hit the next 350 yard shot. 48" heavy horns! USFWS has put them on Cities III and I am still waiting on it. If it would have been sent before Jan. 1 it would not have required a CITIES. I probably need to write up a hunt report huh?
Regards,
Philip

It is!!! ;)

Martin,

How much are extra days if the hunt is to be extended, or is there no room for that due to scheduling?

Additional days added @$800/ day includes taxes and VAT, there is toom to shuffle things around a bit!
August 11-23 available @Millsy
Cheers

So if anyone is wondering if this is a good deal here is a quick comparison to a direct competitor of Martin's. I added five days to Martin's hunt to make it an apples to apples comparison. It is worth noting that 12 days is the minimum for this hunt with the other folks:
  • Martin's deal, plus days = $19,500
  • Competitor = $24,240 (2014 prices - could be more now)
So... Yeah, it is a good deal. :)

I have hunted the Omay several times and have taken some very nice buffalo including the oldest buffalo I have shot to date. The croc and hippo hunting is outstanding. The fishing is not too shabby on Kariba. Martin also has some very good leopard hunting.

Very competent PHs in true dangerous game area.

Thanks Martin!!!

And to clarify - my comparison is for a buff/hippo combo, which was the actual hunt I went on last year.

This is a great deal..Martin I hear has some great buff..

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
