Who took over Tony Da Costa's Safari operation, and, are they still in business? Just curious.

I looked into buying him out many years ago, Had a very nice day with him going over books etc. He was adamant that his name not be used after sale and I thought the most value was his name on the business, (I used him for my second safari and was very pleased), so alas we could not come to an agreement. I do believe he went out of business years ago. He was in his 80s when we talked.

Thanks for the reply, Cliffy. I remember reading about his operation and thinking that his Hunt-pak idea was a pretty good way to go about things. I thought that someone had bought his outfit, but lost the info.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.
