Go ahead and make fun of Colorado. Every transient in the country has moved here. Beggars on lots of corners. My umbrella policy went up 26%. Car insurance went up 9-10% every year because so many people are moving here with no auto insurance, so those of us who pay insurances have to cover them.

You probably got a bunch of ours. There were several areas that transients were starting to set up tent communities last summer. Boise City / Boise P.D. rousted them out. There was a bit of outcry and news stories claiming lack of compassion and inhumane treatment. We have a lot of panhandlers on the corners as well. However, I know it is nothing compared to what you have in Colorado.
Last time I was in Spokane it was out of control. The homeless and drug problem is out of control there.

I like the Tillie in my picture. They are supposed to fit loose (2 fingers inside hat band), have mesh for cooling, and hold their shape after washing.
