Hello fellow hunters,

As hunters, knowing the animals we hunt is important. It is for this reason that I would like to start a thread to provide some basic information per species for anybody who is interested. I will add new animals as we go, starting from smallest to largest according to Rowland Ward.

Please feel free to correct any information that may have changed or is incorrect.

I didn't realize that the S. Grysbok had the smallest horns, although I thought mine would make the book. This is a great thread. I've had fun telling people that my two inch Grysbok was by far the largest animal I shot on safari. Then I tell them I also took hippo and buffalo. They get really confused. LOL

Congratulations on the two you have taken, I'm sure that you are going to have many good experiences hunting these elusive animals! Good addiction to have!

I read an older thread that mentioned you having some 9.3x64 brass. Do you still have some? I am looking for 100 pcs, maybe 200.
