Mike passed away on 23 September 2017.

He had an illustrious career which started with an apprenticeship under the famous Eric Rundgren.

He will be missed. RIP Mike.

September's smoke and trails, carved in our thoughts of yesterday...

Condolences.

Obviously a "Stud" in his day. His kind are few and far between. RIP

Sorry to hear.

Glad his life and adventures have been recorded for others to enjoy and learn from.

Tim

Prayers..

I own his book and read from it often. Seems he lived several very full lifetimes. Perhaps we will still meet someday. Prayers for the family

Rest in peace my friend. Your friendship will always be remembered. You are missed dearly. Your fireside stories will remain in our memories forever. And your game steaks are still ledgend. Love Karen and Glyn

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.

Hi EGS

I read your thread with interest. Would you mind sending me that PDF? May I put it on my website?
