A decent day of ice fishing

Here’s the inside of my set up. We heat it with propane. Haven’t tried an overnighter yet though.

From the outside. The orange tent is for the Mrs. when nature calls. And I fish out of it when I’m on my own.

Nice fish! A Muskie right? BTW, I figured you'd weigh in on this. :) next time I go out I'll post more photos. I towed a loaded toboggan for a kilometre in snow, wouldn't trust the ice with a truck.
My brother in law caught this Lake Trout a few days ago in Colorado.

Nice fish!!

A decent day of ice fishing up here in the Great White North. 10 nice Kokanee (landlocked sockeye salmon) and 7 rainbow trout, between my wife and I in about 3.5 hours.

I have a Traeger smoker, a great trout/salmon brine and great weather to offer if you wish to visit Arizona with that catch…… :)

It’s a pike. We don’t have muskies in Saskatchewan.

My friend's set up for this three day weekend. He's got a room in there for a small wood stove, table and chairs and such. And at night a cot on each side to sleep two.

I went up for the day today to hang out with him and a few others, mostly outside trting to catch lakers and burbot. Mostly just getting out of the house.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
