I acquired a round online from ammo-one1.com The guy seems super nice and knowledgeable and legitimate. He’s apparently been selling odd ammo and cases for a long time. Anyway, I bought a 700 nitro round and when I got it, it seems like it’s only halfway full of powder. I can lit rally shake...

I mean usps says right on their website clearly you can not use it to ship any ammo

Yeah I was told that they can send that because they have a license to sell / manufacture ammo. So I was told I could have the guy ship to an ammo company as a middle man but I’m trying to avoid that. I also feel like 4 bore is a little bigger than your average round and not in same category...

Yeah that’s what I’m trying to find out. From what I was told I could have the guy ship it to an ammo manufacturer and have them send it to me as a middle man but the issue is that we are both citizens without license to do so. Again, from what I heard from a manufacturer of this type of ammo

They don’t wllo shipments of ammo over 50 cal. Look at their website. Again, I was told they would scan and confiscate packages like that

I made a post recently about acquiring some ammunition and I found a few people (totally unrelated to this forum) willing to make some sales of 700 nitro and 4 bore ammo, but the question now arises how how I can safely get these items shipped to me without it being confiscated or something...

I’m an avid gun collector and want to expand my collection into some of the more odd / rare rounds. Wondering if anyone had any good suggestions on places to start tracking some down
