I bought these from Cabala's last year and they have been sitting in the safe. Always wanted some classic large caliber rifles but have other priorities now so away they go. Hopefully the new owner will get them out in the field where they belong.

Both of these rifles have all of the pre-64 features down to the box design. 24 inch barrels. All original boxes, tags, manuals included.

The 458 is a 1 of 500. As new with absolutely no handling marks whatsoever. Beautiful wood and great mat bluing. Selling new for $1,499.00 plus tax. I'm selling mine for $1,200.00 plus shipping. Pictures below of the actual rifle.

The 375 H&H Mag is a 1 of 200. As new with absolutely no handling marks whatsoever. Again beautiful wood and great mat bluing. These are all sold out, original price was $2,199.00. I'm selling mine for $1,600.00 plus shipping. Pictures below of the actual rifle.

Well the 375 H&H can be had in other guns for a lot less.

Hum? I'm asking too much $$?

Definitely not asking too much on the .458. $1200 is what you'd pay for a Safari Express, these two guns are essentially Super Grade versions of the Safari Express versions and with the classic red recoil pad. $1600 for the .375 seems reasonable to me for the grade of wood.

I saw these rifles at the local Cabelas when they first came out, they're beautiful. But, as much business as I give Cabelas and appreciate them, the Cabelas markings is actually a bit of a turn off to me. That may be what you're fighting here.

Have you tried selling these back to Cabelas? You may get close to what you're asking here.

Blazeone, they are beautiful rifles. I am not really a collector. If I bought one of your rifles I would hate to scratch it. It isn't functional for me.

I agree Phil, I hate the Cabela markings.

Being a Win. collector I would be all over the .458 but I'm not a fan of the Cabelas connection either and Sunny Hill floor plates ain't cheap...

Would the Win. standard safari grade floor plate interchange?

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.
