I have an outfitter in Namibia with a leftover tag and short notice Leopard hunt. He is willing to make someone a great deal for the Leopard hunt if you can make the dates work.

He is a very small operator and only hunts his personal ground. His area is 12,000 hectares not far from Windhoek. There is a good Leopard population in the area, but its always a tough hunt. His success rate in the past is about 50%, but if you put in the time and work hard, I'm confident you can up those odds.

The hunt is baited and is 14 days long. Pre-baiting is included in the price. Additional baits may be necessary to refresh baits. The outfitter uses only Zebra for bait, hunters can of course take the skin home. Mountain Zebra US$590, Burchells Zebra US$1,170.

He also has a variety of plains game available as well.

He has two openings available in his schedule for the hunt, you can pick whatever 14 days suits your needs to make it work.

03 rd September 2014-21 st September 2014.
29 th September 2014-13 th October 2014.
Available dates in November, please email me on that.

Cost for the hunt is US$7,000, trophy fee for Leopard is uS$3,250
Trophy fee paid only if you take a cat.

Price includes:

Daily rate
Meals
Lodging
PH
Trackers
Skinners
Leopard license and tag

Not included are:

Wow, that seems like a smokin' deal! I hope someone can jump on it and make those dates work. I wish it could be me!

I can do it in September 3th
I need a daily rate for 1 obsever and some lodge information if it is possible
What are the conditions for the confirmation of the Safari and a price list for the game shooting
Regards
FA

I thought it was a good deal, leopard for the price of a PG safari.

Fernando, i sent you a PM on the hunt

I am surprised !!!!!!!
I never get any answer about my questions and I never received any PM on the Hunt.
It seems to me a little out of the spirit of AH

Fernando,

I'm sorry I never received a PM from you? I wrote you on August 21, but never received a response.

It was a good deal James

Thank you James but I am done for this season

Guys, For the Leopard or any other hunt. If you love the idea of taking a personal cameraman along to bring a lot more of the excitement thrill and action home, please talk to me. I've been shooting for 40 years both rifles and bows and appreciate the hunt from many perspectives. I'm a very experienced photographer and video cameraman with very specialised gear.

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,

Love your rifle! I'm needing a heavier rifle for Africa. Sold my .375 Dakota Safari several trips ago. Would you have any interest in a trade of some sort involving the custom 338/06 I have listed here on the site ( I have some room on my asking price. I also have a large quantity of the reloading components and new Redding dies as well as a box of A-Square Dead Tough ammo.
