Zambezi valley hunts

From the rugged hills of the Zambezi escarpment to the rich floodplains on the shores of lake kariba, the Zambezi valley is home to ALL of Zimbabwe’s dangerous game.

Not only is the Zambezi valley known for its thick jesse, rugged terrain and dense populations of dangerous game, it is regarded as one of the prime destinations for quality high success leopard hunts. We at Martin Pieters Safaris have constantly been recognised as ‘ the ‘ outfit to book with when you are considering your next leopard hunt in Zimbabwe, photos and references on our website are a testament to our success.

With over one million acres of contiguous dangerous game habitat, rolling hills and kariba lake front, our Omay concession in the Zambezi valley has and continues to produce some of the biggest leopard Zimbabwe has to offer. Our buffalo/ leopard package is one of the most sought after safaris on offer, add a few days tiger fishing or take home a monster crocodile from the Ume river.

Experience the remote unfenced corners of Zimbabwe and hunt the Omay, Zambezi valley, a free range and remote wilderness concession.

With stand alone leopard hunts, or big game combination hunts with a chance for a massive crocodile, hippo, buffalo and lion, we are your first choice outfit in Zimbabwe.

Another option before or after your Zambezi Valley hunt is a side trip to Victoria Falls and our famous national parks, non hunting guests and families consider one of the highlights of their trip.

With hunting areas being lost due to population growth and the immenent threat of a suspension/ ban on importation for certain species, we urge you to come to Africa NOW, enjoy these remote and rugged concessions before its too late.

Experienced professional hunters, quality camps and a reputation to constantly deliver world class trophies, contact Martin Pieters Safaris and browse our website for recent photos, references and information about who we are.

You’ve got an interesting screen name. Will the Thrill provided lots of great times for me as a lifelong Giants fan. Even though I never met him, a number of buddies either duck hunted or shared a dugout with him. He’s a great guy according to those guys. Cool screen name and if that’s your real name, it’s a great one.
in-between all the bush fire, hunting and work on the hunting area its hard to find time for fishing as well

I ran across a message from you a couple of years ago while I was going through old emails. I have arranged a second bison hunt in Nebraska in September 2024, about 6-years after the first, when my supply of bison meat was exhausted. My email is [redacted].

If those Schells rings fare still available, I could use them. I'm willing to pay for the shipping.
