Zimbabwe Elephant where to get products made

I am heading to Zimbabwe in a few weeks and have a chance at an exportable elephant cow, I want to have it taken somewhere in Zim and get some accessories like gun cases etc as well as getting a few panels of the hide tanned and stained where would be a good place?

I have a similar question. I’m going to Zambia in Oct for an elephant hunt and would like to similar things with my elephant. I don’t believe there’s any services like those mentioned above in zambia. Is it an issue getting my elephant parts into Zimbabwe?

Do you know who the outfitter normally recommends for their post hunt taxidermy work? Have you asked your outfitter?
Have you researched any of the taxidermy options in Zambia?
Maybe reach out to Michael at Bangewulu in Lusaka or one of the others Taxidermy studios.


I’d start with those questions before you consider exporting to Zim. They’ll have to do extra paperwork which means incurring the additional costs, on top of the additional shipping/transport costs.

There are no good options in Zambia at this time. Same goes for Mozambique most if not everything get exported out of the country by dip and pack.

I second TCI, Cuan Meredith, did a wonderful job on our gun cases, bags, shoes etc. The gun bags are still wearing like iron since 2014.
