Zambia Buffalo Hunt Special Offer For AfricaHunting Members

Morning cls, I recommend everyone that should hunting in Luangwa Valley to take malaria prophylaxis like Malarone or Lariam with start two weeks before the safari, 1 tablet per week and 2 weeks after the safari. Yellow fever vaccin should also be on the "to do list" before you visit Zambia.

michael i would get people to use malarone or its generic offspring rather than lariam. malarone is one tablet taken one or two days before arrival, then one per day in country and for seven days after departure

Thanks for your input and Yes, that's correct Mike - Malarone ones per day - I have use Lariam for nearly 1,5 year now and it's working fine in Luangwa Valley...

Hello Harry, Yes we can arrange the Sitatunga and Black Lechwe up in Bangweulu wetlands, I would recommend to start the buffalo for 7 days at Mbizi, when the buffalo is taken we flying directly from Mbizi to Bangweulu for Sitatunga and Lechwe. If you are interested send me you email on a PM and will send you more information.

Regarding Chobe Bushbuck, there is some nice ones taken here, we have a old one that a snap a photo of some time ago with left tip of the horn broken off, and a decent one from a trail-camera in a natural salt cave. Also Marc N from Rigby took a good one here a couple of years ago (attached photos). But they are plenty of them here...
Regards, Michael

Hi Michael, My email address is as follows: harry.branca@gm.com. In additrion, to the costs of a Black Lechwe and possibly a Sitantunga, I understand that travel costs within Zambia can bw quite expensive, so let me know what any additional costs, I would incur. Thanks again. I've got a Brown Bear hunt coming up in a couple of months, so the earliest I would be able to go would be 18 or 19. Need to save some $$$. Thanks and happy hunting!!!

Hello Harry, yes sure we can arrange that combination of buffalo and then flying out to Bangweulu for the other game as Sitatunga and Black Lechwe. Because you have the bear hunt this year I suggest that you send us a mail on mbizi@varna.net when you know in what time frame you can doing that safari, 2019 is far away and I can't give you any price up in Bangweulu or not even at Mbizi, for 2018 the buffalo here will most probably landing on $15,500 plus dip/pack.

Our scouts tracked this bull heard at Mbizi two days ago...

All the best,
Michael

Hi Jon,
I saw your post for the .500 NE cases. Are these all brass or are they nickel plated? Hard for me to tell... sorry.
Thanks,
