I'm sure GB has the shop's info but, if not, I'm glad to pass along the name if anyone in the area wants to know. All my dealings have been positive over the years but I typically only get in a time or two a year as it's a bit of a haul. Bit optimistic with his pricing but he will usually work a buyer.

At one time, they had one of the best selections of pre-64 Model 70s around. The rack behind the counter was full of them. The racks along the wall to the left of the entrance were full of Ruger No.1s. He still has some nice stuff for a country shop but not like it was a decade ago.

Left the factory in 2005

The lady I talked to was very knowledgeable and she had never seen or looked up a M77 with a serial number like this one. She was intrigued herself. According to the computer there is nothing special about this rifle. Just an oddball serial number.

Interesting and a new one for me!

Cool! Thanks for checking and letting us know. I have been told there is no real rhyme or reason to Ruger serial numbers but this is definitely a new one
