Setting the new bar for the Tactical Hunter.
Xtreme Tactical Hunter

Our Xtreme Tactical Hunter (XTH) is a serious piece of hunting gear! We’ve mated our Model 1999 action to a stainless steel #5 long-range match barrel, threaded it for a muzzle brake or suppressor, and housed it in our premium MRC tactical synthetic stock. The XTH comes chambered in light recoiling cartridges such as the .243 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, and 6.5 PRC for those long shots on windy days. It also comes chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum and Winchester Short Magnum for those who wish to have an all-around big game rifle. This rifle comes with dual front sling swivel studs allowing for easy bipod attachment, and is equipped with Montana’s “Soft Pad” cheek rest and enhanced palm swell for a comfortable grip. This rifle gives you a positive shooting experience and is specially-suited for use from prone positions for those situations that require an extreme, long-range shot.

Nice rifle, have a couple questions. Is it a #5 contour or #2 contour barrel and why the slow twists on the Noslers and other 7mms offerings? Nine is the standard twist for those calibers to accommodate long secant ogive bullets. I have one 28 Nosler with an 8 twist to shoot the ELR bullets and one with a 9. Those twists are required for long range shooting.
Same goes for the 26 Nosler, 8 is standard twist for 6.5s.
