Gents, i have a full bag of S&B and PPU 7x57R ammo for my combo rifle but i'd like to try the Norma's if anyone has some they want to part with. Appreciate any help.

Norma doesn't offer that cartridge in the USA. Where are you located?

What is the gun and intended target?

It is a Franz Sodia combination gun. O/U. Ixd be shooting hogs and whitetail. Open sights.

You will be limited to a bullet that regulates to the iron sights. Have you found a bullet weight/velocity that regulates to the sights?

The factory bullets from S&B work well...I just don't love the bullet personally.

I can dial the velo in with the powder...more asking if any of you love a particular bullet for those uses.

Im fond of Nosler Accubonds, ive seen them perform well on a variety of game. They are available in a variety of weights as well.

You could also just use heavy for caliber traditional cup and core bullets like Hornady Interlock. I have used them with success on deer. But i always prefer a bonded bullet for reliability.

I'll take the Vortex scope cover you have listed in the Pay it Forward thread.
