Would you like a Cigar?

I told you awhile back we wanted to see Morty hoisting a 180lb cat.......

Let me tell you that ain’t easy for a fat old hunter. Here is a 150lb tracker holding same cat.

Man, that's awesome Mort! Congrats!

Not nearly as epic as brother Mort's excellent trophies, this was my memorial weekend Trophy from the Mountains. 22" Cutthroat on my flyrod. I forgot all about my cigar when I hooked it lol. You can read about it, and others, in my post "No country for old men".
Cheers.

@Brent in Az, man that's a beauty! Can you keep them, or is catch and release?

Well.....that first cigar went down quick. The first one of the weekend always does. I forgot to put in my Cigar page order before I went on Holiday, and ran out of cigars yesterday ( The Horror). Had to stop down to the Cigar shop to get my fix.

Partagas 1845

I never tried this before. It's a tapered torpedo, that tapers bigger all the way down to the foot. I've never been into funky shaped cigars, but it's actually pretty good, even with a somewhat tight draw.

I smoke this cigar to celebrate my mom’s 80th b-day. Thank you Uncle Mort :). I failed to take pictures of the other cigars I smoked when I was in Florida :(

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
