I was lucky to get a box of Woodleigh 225 grain FMJ .358 bullets, 1 want a load for my three .35 Whelens.
I have plenty of Varget (AR2208), and some H4895 (AR 2206H), and Winchester 760.

Does anyone have recommendations from Woodleigh?
I don't have their manual.
Of course, I will follow all reloading protocols, start low, and carefully work up, check for signs of pressure, in each rifle.

Should work for a Texas Heart Shot on Marauding Brahma bulls in my area!
Seriously, I was charged by one, when a teenager working with my Dad on the ranch.

Never forget that experience, I was 17 years old, and ran like hell!

The loading manual lists only one set of load data for SN, FMJ, HYDRO IN THEIR MANUALfor their 225gr.
Hope this helps.

@cajunchefray
I use 61.5 grains of varget/2208 with the 225gn PPSP with no issues. This is the same load nosler uses for the 225gn accubonds.
It has proved safe in my rifle but work up slowly.
The go to powder for the 35 Whelen is Hodgdon CFE223, gives high velocity at lower pressures.

Thanks to all who replied.

Really appreciate yo and this site.

Bob, yes, I plan to get some CFE 223 when I find some locally, some powders are coming back in our local reloading shop.

Well, sir, I am mighty impressed with the quality of the shell cordovan belt. I have several pairs of shoes that are shell cordovan, but had balked at paying over half that price for just a belt. Wouldn't be surprised if this belt doesn't last the rest of my life--for its color application. It sure is a universe removed from the cheaply constructed yet expensive stuff being put out there. Worth the price I paid.
