Winchester Model 70 Classic Sporter CRF

300 win Mag with Leupold VX5 HD 3-15x44 FireDot Duplex.
I bought this rifle from Mark Biggerstaff in August 2024. He did all the work listed below.
Stock has been refinished had rubbed oil satin finish. Pachmyer 1in Decelerator recoil pad. 8oz C&H recoil reducer.
Glass bed and floated.
Leupold turret cut for Factory Swift 200gr A-frame. Talley rings and bases.
This gun shoots the Swift 200gr A-frame and the Nosler 200gr Partition at same POI 3/4inch group.
Rifle will come with loaded ammo
85 Swift Factory 200gr A-frames
29 Nosler Factory 200gr Partitions
26 once fired brass
Little blue wear on muzzle. Couple light marks on trigger guard. Otherwise, is in great shape.
$2550 shipped to your FFL
$2400 Face to Face if you are close in Texas.

Are you interested in separating the scope and rifle? I have some interest in the rifle but no need for another scope.

Awesome. GLS!

Somebody please buy it so I don't have to. This looks to be a new haven model 70 ( G-prefix) which is an very desirable model. They still have the original Mauser - style open trigger assembly which is vastly preferable on a hunting rifle to the newer cartridge style triggers most makers use, and the build quality on these rifles tends to be very good. This is a very good rifle for anyone who values reliability in any conditions.

@KHohertz, if you do decide to separate the rifle and scope, I am interested in the scope. Wanted to put out there. Either way, best of luck with the sale and anybody considering this rifle, know that @Mark Biggerstaff, does outstanding work.

The rifle is a good solid shooter. New Haven manf. I used in 2024 safari and took several animals. I am tempted to buy back, just no need for a 3rd 300 win at this time.

Yes it is a solid shooter for sure. Only shot a few times to verify. I added a few more boxes of Swift ammo when it was available. Only reason for selling is I really want a single shot from Bailey Bradshaw.

Congrats to both buyer and seller getting this rifle back home. Just can’t beat a good Model 70 and 300 Win is an awesome cartridge.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
