Why you should consider hunting dangerous game in South Africa

WildRose we are based in the Limpopo Province of SA.

Got on to a few nice bulls today but didn't get off a shot, weather is real cold and windy, not in our favor. But we saw a herd of 350+ buffalo and a group of 5 dagga boys. Got 2 impala down though for baits. Not a bad first day of hunting.

dtarin09, we are leaving this afternoon for 5 days to hunt buffalo in the same area you hunted your bull. Will put a picture on this thread if/when we get one.
Awesome - looking forward to seeing what God produces!

Sounds like a lot of fun to me! Lots of buffs like that has to be a thrill.

Saw some great bulls again this morning, but no luck on what the hunter is looking for yet.
Weather is still cold, windy, and raining a little bit.

But our luck must change at some point!

I thought it looked familiar. Most of the first two weeks of my trip we hunted in Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Gauteng and in the Northwest Provinces. Certainly some beautiful country up there.

I look forward to more reports from your hunt.

Excellent! Definitely a couple in there that would work for me! Keep them coming

Will do. We saw a bull that we are going to try have a second look at. So things might happen later today.... Will post a picture when it happens.

Great. There's three there I'm not sure how anyone could pass on unless they've already got a very nice one or more on the wall.

Those boys on the right and left respectively look to me like they have it all.

The hunter has hunted buffalo before and is looking for something specific. We have passed on problably 30 great bulls the last few days. No luck yet, but we have been having fun, eating well, and we have sunny days again, so things are looking up. The game movement was amazing this morning!

Great trophy !

Thank you Nyati! A true old warrior. What they should look like in my opinion..

mooi Heinrich , nice character old Bull. Look how the skin around his face is worn down from scratching himself on the trees .

This one just left me speechless Heinrich :E Wow:

Heinrich these are two very nice bulls.

That last bull is a stud ,I would love to shot one like that .John(y)(y)(y)

Thank you gentleman. Yes we are fortunate to have wild areas like these still left in SA, which where well managed, no shortage of game and still producing some great trophy quality.

In my opinion dangerous game hunting SA is going to grow in demand instead of decline. For various reasons.

AH is providing a great informative platform for the hunters, to get the facts about each country, continent, outfitters & professional hunters.

Truly great to be here!

Here is another example of what can be shot in SA.

Mkuze Falls PGR, Kwazulu/Natal.
