That's a hell of a list for a bowhunting trip!

There is always just one more animal to get with a bow that brings us back.
The terrain we mostly hunt springbok in isn't usually conducive to bowhunting.
The rifle shots average 200-300m.

This year we're off to a farm that has some really nice hides, so I'll be sure to spend at least a day sitting in one.

Other than the Elephant, we have a very similar Africa list for this year. We are also taking a side trip to the cape to try for some also. I am planning on elephant in 2028, so I am looking forward to hearing about your hunt.

I think that is the case with most of the animals that like to be out in the open plains. Hopefully this year we can land a few.

I haven’t been to the East cape yet so looking forward to it

I’ve heard the cape hasn’t received huge amounts of rain so far

Depends on where in the E. Cape you’re going.
In the last 3 weeks, there are areas that have almost washed away.

Wyoming for Pronghorn in August. Then deer this fall. I just bought a new Mathews ARC, so eager to give it a try this year.

That is a great bow! I was going to get one but it is longer than my RS and does not fit in my case. I usually get a new bow every year, but decided to stick with the RS again and see what comes out for 2027. would love to hear how the pronghorn hunt goes, that is on our list for the near future.

Hopefully I’ll be successful and will write a report. Looking forward to it!

I recently returned from a 10-day bowhunt with Kowas in Namibia, May 13-23. I took a giant old Blue Wildebeest from a hide over a water hole, and a springbok, impala, and warthog while spot and stalking. I also shot a Mountain Zebra with a rifle on the last day.

It was a hell of an adventure. I'm working on the full report now.

That certainly sounds like you had a great trip! Congratulations. Looking forward to your report.

See you are from Denmark - see quite a few Danes where I stalk in Scotland - great hunters.
The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.
