I have been considering such a.combinatiin for my pg hunting.

Have been looking at Krieghoff Ultra 20.

9.3x74R/7×57R 22 inch barrels with swing off mounts
Second barrel set
7x65R/6.5×57R 24 inch barrels with swing off mounts

Also looked at drilling with insert barrels but not the best idea

VC 450/400, VC 8x57JRS(Until someone buys it), and Heym 7x65r. The others are sxs.

I'm very fond of mine...Browning Superposed in .30-06...they made it in 9.3x74R too...

I use to have a beautiful Franz Sodia in a 470NE unfortunately had to sell it. Very happy and I believe they regulate better than SxS doubles, at least all I have read and studied point in that direction.

Not a day goes by that I don’t regret having to get rid of it…..

My best always.

I have a old Krieghoff ALP-S in 7x65R /222Rem
With an illuminated Zeiss Victory 2,5-10x50.
Set triggers on both triggers.

Think i mentioned elsewhere earlier, a Swedish buddy have a Blaser BBF 95 .22H and 7x57R , covered from hare to moose , or coup de grace shot also under dog work situations also if rifle game specific for the days.

I used to have a Zanardini König in 9,3x74R which worked fine as a double rifle for driven game, mainly wild boar and moose. Seemed to be of rather nice quality with good regulation (35 mm at 80 meters with Norma Alaska bullets). Due to the rather harsh gun laws in Sweden I had to sell it when I realized that I wanted a side by side double rifle instead.

I don't have a Bergstutzen, but I do have a Krieghoff Ulm Primus Bockbüchsflinte in 12 gauge/7X75R SE vom Hofe with a full length insert barrel in 6X52R Brettschneider. The latter caliber is simply the .25-35 necked to 6mm, or the .22 Savage High Power necked up. It gives me a nice choice of calibers in one weapon.

I also used to have a Blaser BD880, a so called bockdrilling which had 2 different rifle barrels, .22 hornet and .30-06 in my case aswell as a 16 gauge shotgun barrel. I have seen these bockdrillings with far larger calibres aswell, like 9,3x74R and 7x65R with a shotgun barrels. The BD880 was also quite light, about 3 kg without optics and also looked nice.

Hope you are ok with me posting this link to a Combogun in 7x75R

1984 I bought this Blaser Bergstutzen in 8x75 and 5,6x50 RMag together with an additional Barrel
in .30.06 and 12 gauge. With the toggle switch you can choose which barrel to fire.
I shoots very well and you always have the right caliber at hand - the .30.06 has a luminous dot
visor.
