Which Handgun Caliber For Big Game Hunting?

It sounds like this is your first trip. We all romanticize about everything possible about Africa. That’s ok and not a bad thing.
Trust me, forget the handgun. You can’t hunt DG with it (a permit can be issued for many things not commonly legal I understand this) for the most part and a pistol as a backup gun in Africa is just not very common from a clients perspective.
