Where are the best places to track Eland?

Namibia. Free range. Tracked a mile but average was over 10 miles for our group probably.

I've been lucky enough to hunt eland in a number of places, but I think if I had to pick one spot it would be with Mokore Safaris on Coutada 9 in Mozambique. I've killed big eland in Zim, Botswana, Namibia and Cameroon but the sheer numbers in Coutada 9 makes it my first choice. Anybody I've referred there has taken an eland if they wanted one even if it was not their priority.

Tell the Mokore guys you want to track the eland and they'll be all smiles.

Thanks for the recommendation. I have been seriously considering Coutada 9 with Mokore for other game but didn’t realize the Eland hunting was that good!

Coutada 9 is Wonderland. It is without a doubt the best unfenced PG hunting in Southern Africa. 4 of the Spiral horns, 4 of the Tiny 10, Sable and the buffalo plus lion are very good also
