we live in a 'strange' world
First it was shark cages..
then lion cages..
There must be one BAD ASS Goat on the ground!
brickburn i agree-just look at the small branch the white one on top is standing on!
i wonder if all the goat species have an acient common gene to not have a fear for vertical limits?
bloody hell them mountain goat photos are unbelievable
Darwinism in action - the ones that became a red-and-white pancake at the bottom of the cliff did not pass on their genes!:samurai:
BTW, comparing the size of the goats in the tree to those below makes me wonder. Did you take the photo yourself, observe?
WOW! Thats one way to hunt them no where to run.
unfortunately not- it was send to me by a friend
truely amazing behaviour of namibian 'flatland',semi desert goats that had never even seen a mountain!
Exactly why you wait until they come down to feed on the nice green slopes when you go hunting. At least I do.
I keep going back to this photo and find my head involuntarily shaking...... :doh2:
The guy leaning over eyeballing the lion that is sitting makes me want to open the door and see what would happen.
just look at this 50m decend from the rocks
can this be for real?
and these tree climbing goats in morokko
Damn! That first video proved me wrong they do have some place to run.
Andy Russell, a long time Mountain Guide in Canada wrote of witnessing Mountain Goats performing this kind of feat in "Chimney" situations.
Unbelievably, he also described Elk attempting something similar with very poor results. Some made it some did not.
The red and tan pancake described earlier was the fate of several.
Meals on wheels!:doh2:
guys, i'm having a bit of fun with this thread now
still an amazing animal [they seem to go where even baboons will be sceared to go!]
here are some more crazy photo's of their death defying attitude
That is some great footage!
can you explain that...???
now, how in the world....??
Virtually impossible to explain a Bighorn ram hanging on a power pole line..
[are those faint hooved marks on the pole?]
SHOCKING just SHOCKING!!!!!!!!
Must be a "Green" California big horn doing some form of self-immolation to protest the use of hydrocarbon produced electric power.
Observe, you did it again. I don't know where you come up with your pics but they are always amazing. Keep them coming.
If a cow can jump over the ram can hang from a power line.
Must be a really good mineral lick. Probably not a lot of competition from the moose and caribou.
Separate names with a comma.
