Folks, This is the video shot, edited, and produced by Vaughan Vasloo of Untamed Knife and TV

Mark, what a great hunt, thank you for sharing this with the rest of us! This brought back great memories of the intensity that tuskless elephant hunting is.

I hunted with Johnny the hunt right before yours, did you also stay at the Ume Camp? I really enjoyed that camp, not that I was there much, lol

No, we were in the Chenji Camp in the Chewore South safari area.

Loved the interaction with the school children and the folks in the village. It's hard to imagine 2,500 pounds of Elephant meat, but I love seeing the locals use every bit of it.

I think I'll take a pass on the stomach though.:E Cry:

That was enjoyable to watch, thanks for that!

Well done!

Wow, I REALLY enjoyed that! Well done.
Can we order one of those axes here in the States?

Congratulations on the hunt. Great video, especially the parts about the schools and delivering the meat to the local villages. One of the most rewarding feelings my wife and I have had in Africa was delivering the meat from my elephant to the local villages. Your video brought back those extremely fond memories. Thanks for sharing!

My wife and I always bring school supplies when we go to Africa and really enjoy visiting the schools and interacting with the local children. I think I saw the twinkle in your eyes as well!

Great job, and what a nice remembrance of your safari. You’ll be able to relive it at any time. I’ve never met Johnny, but I’ve hunted with Dalton several times, and in that camp as well. Johnny comes across on film as a 1st rate individual, and not just on your video. I’d like to hunt with him sometime. Congrats again.

Vaughan is the best. Great footage. I am taking my double for zebra and eland later this year.

Be careful of hunting Chewore South, the area has been decimated.....

Curious about this. I hunted Chewore South with D&Y in September and they did tell me it was there last hunt there.

Which outfits shot it out?
Impala cull hunt for camp meat!
