I really enjoyed the show and it was nice to be able to see some outfitters and old friends. Not quite the size of DSC, but still very fun with good diversity of exhibitors. Was on the lookout for a place for a corporate deer hunt, which I successfully found and booked without issue.
Parking was easy - it’s the same as when DSC was there - you can just put Kay Bailey Convention parking garage in your phone and it will recommend a garage.
My one nit was entry and exit to the showroom floor. I had my ticket prepaid and had the QR code. Wasn’t an issue on first entry, but when I would exit and try to come back in the QR code didn’t work. I realized halfway through I was probably supposed to stand in the long line outside to get one of those name tags and that may have solved the issue, but that seemed backwards. I have a QR code that let me in the first time, why do I need to get anything else. I would have preferred if there was kiosks on the way OUT of the exhibit hall that you could scan for a re-entry ticket or they just scan your QR code when you exit.
Overall though, great show and I look forward to next year.
