What knife are you carrying everyday right now?

I’m always on the hunt for a new knife, especially folders. Only have close to a hundred probably but who cares? Currently carrying the Spyderco Metropolitan right now. Highly recommend.
Benchmade shootout I am a big fan, I also switch out with a Benchmade mini Osborne

As a knife collector - well former now as I just sold most of my collection to buy a new gun - it’s interesting to see what non collectors carry. Generally nothing fancy, just practical.

One of my go to pairings for hunting is the Becker bk62 kephart that I rehandled, makes for a great skinner and game knife. The folder is a custom I designed, spear and punch. Spear has a 90deg spine for striking ferro rods. Fixed blade is 1095, easy sharpening in the field. Folder is nitro V.

My wife bought me a Cudeman Ackeley in n690Co a few years back. It’s good but a little thick behind the edge.
Another regular combo is my LT wright outback in 3V and a modded GEC bunny knife 1095 with a clip and castrator blade.

If I can find a better sheath for it someday I’ll use my Carothers EDC a bit more too.

I carry a Civivi folder in my pocket - everywhere. My Police Officer son has told me it is illegal to have a knife on my person in Australia now ......
It's razor sharp with the strop kindly gifted to me by Grumpy gumpy

Not illegal to carry in Aus in everyday life, as long as your are not a lunatic and have an explainable use for it. They say a blade under 3” is a good idea.

I had an excellent customer experience with Buck knives a couple months ago...

The Heritage design was revealed at shot show 2026. And were available for pre-order....
So, I pre-ordered one from the Knife Center a couple weeks ago..
Today, I received an email that it has shipped.
Brass bolsters and Magnacut steel.
Excited to use the "modern" buck 110!
I will post some pics when I get it

Carothers are some of the best knives out there! Check out Pirtlemade leather. He makes a lot of Carothers sheaths

My new Buck 110 Heritage showed up a couple days ago. I installed a thumb stud so I can open it with one hand. It's still a little difficult opening, but I think that will get easier with use. Here are a few pics and a comparison to a standard 110. So far I am pretty happy with it. This is my first Magnacut Steel blade, so it will be interesting to see how it works.....

I carried a cheapo CRKT that I bought in high school for years. Always went back and forth on buying myself a good quality knife and for some reason always cheaped out. My wife surprised me with a custom engraved Benchmade Osborne for Christmas one year and that was my go to knife until I gave myself a heart attack when I thought I left it in a hotel in Anchorage! Luckily I found it in my checked bag but I went straight to the closest sporting goods store after I found it and bought a replica without the engraving! That one never leaves my side, though after about 3 years it is due to head back to Benchmade for some repairs work. The engraved one has a nice spot in my safe and only comes out for special occasions.

Leatherman Wave+. If I ever need to replace it it’ll be with a Surge as I like the file being detachable - that way you can sharpen the tools on the leatherman without needing a seperate sharpener.

There's been a Victorinox Tinker in my pocket for most of my adult life. Sometimes there's a 2nd, larger blade in another pocket, but the Tinker is always with me. There's a spare one in both trucks, just in case. Like others here, there's a variety of others scattered throughout the house, an old Old Timer 3 blade with a sheeps head sits on the table next my chair. Never understood a man that didn't carry a pocket knife, it's as basic an EDC item as underwIO
I also carry a Victorinox Tinker for years. Once in a while I forget to put it in my checked bag and have lost a couple to airlines. Once going into a Red Wings game at Joe Louis arena, I had to go back outside and bury it in a snowbank!!

Correct Sir. Low quality, North Korean cans. This knife is equally sharp on both sides....unintentionally. I make tomato sauce with this knife. Why? Because it just crushes tomatoes into paste for me...

Carry it to cut dandelions don’t use chemicals due to fruit trees.
Browning model 660 titanium-ATS-34.

It’s getting warmer out so time to switch to something a bit smaller and easier to keep under a light jacket. Buck Frontiersman in a custom cross draw sheath for scout carry. Buck 420HC steel really is done right; it holds an edge reasonably well, easily sharpened in the field, corrosion resistant, tough, and very affordable.
