Lexus GX - it's a Toyota Prado
Yeah I bought this one a little over a year ago. only had 130k miles and never been in a flood area or where they salt the roads. and they are going up in price! love the darn thing. there arent too many cars i would buy with over 100k miles but toyota is definitely one.My best car was 2008 FJ Cruiser, drove it for 10 years, nothing but oil changes and a set of brake pads and it never let me down. Sold it for the exact same price I bought it for, which at the time I thought was nuts and too good a deal to pass up. Truthfully, I regret selling it.
I drove a rented Opel Vectra 1.6 liter way back in 1990 on the autobahn on my first trip to Europe. drove it from frankfurt to zurich back when u had to stop at the border and show your passport.I am not a car guy. Drove several European car brands probably unknown outside of Europe like Opel (Vauxhall) and Dacia but the best car, in the way of most reliable and economical friendly, was a Suzuki.
When my current car needs replacement I'll probably will look for a car made in Japan or Korea. They are just so good and almost no maintenance costs.
That is funny my first car was a Opel Vectra from 1990 but than the 2.0 liter version. Loved that car but the maintenance costs every year were more than what I payed for the car. iirc 900 eurosI drove a rented Opel Vectra 1.6 liter way back in 1990 on the autobahn on my first trip to Europe. drove it from frankfurt to zurich back when u had to stop at the border and show your passport.

love the sound of the naturally aspirated v8. makes driving fun.Mercedes ML 55 AMG with a 5.5 L V-8 naturally aspirated engine, which was a monster. Now I enjoy a BMW X5M.
No car manufacturer does. Their business model now is based on planned obsolescence. The erstwhile Mercedes-Benzes were built like a tank, and ran forever; sadly, they don't make them like that anymore.
Some never did anyway. No car manufacturer does. Their business model now is based on planned obsolescence.
i cant tell u about the “man behind the curtain” shenanigans that car dealers are fairly or unfairly thought of pulling. all that i can tell u is that a absolutely love my 2007 fj i picked up last year. good luck!About to try the FJ Cruiser circa 2008 model for favorite car ever. We'll see what kind of deal can be made with a dealer. Any of you all out on the innerwebs a car dealer type, who can give me a bit of insight into the behind the scenes?
