What I "should have bought"/What I "shouldn't have sold"

Every gun sold to pay for something else in efforts to please a woman I hope to never see again in this life.
Preach on brother man. My wife now has actually supported my firearm acquisitions, trips, and watch habit. Version 1.evil did not at all.

I do regret selling the first pistol I bought even though it was a Ruger KP90. I have been looking for years to find another one.

I don't regret most though because my tastes have changed over time and settled on what I have now.

Oh, I forgot. In the mid 80s, I was working a parttime job. One of them was working at Herman's Sporting Goods. One of the managers bought a JM Marlin 1894 in .44 Magnum, shot 4 times, and didn't like it. I paid $100 for the rifle, a Bushnell scope, and two boxes of ammo. I sold that rifle for $1000.00. Even though I never shot it, I feel I made a mistake by selling it.
Some big sporting goods chain was closing in Dallas about 25 years ago and I stocked up on stuff for ten cents on the dollar max. No regrets except one--they had Scientific Anglers fly lines for $2 a piece and I only bought 2 for bass fishing, NONE for trout.....could have cleared the rack and later sold them.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
