What do you make of this?

I run a camera down my .375 Ruger barrel. I'm trying to figure out if this is a crack, hair, or a scratch.

Get it xrayed if you are that concerned.

If you are concerned about it and if it were mine and I saw it. Two options in my opinion. 1 take to a gunsmith that has a good bore scope and get his opinion. 2. Call Ruger and get a call tag for it and let them examine it. I would recommend calling Ruger if it were mine. That is assuming you are in USA.

Clean/scrub the barrel again and take another look.

My guess is it's not a hair but a surface crack. Get it checked out and go from there.

Hopefully tomorrow I get enough time to foam the barrel, and scrub it good. I'll take another peak, and it still has lands that look like they're poured out of concrete and that crack is still there, it's definitely Ruger bound. I believe the rough looking lands, is the previous owner shot bare lead through it, but I could be wrong.
