I went to a Holts auction house in Sandringham while I was in Norfolk. The amount of firearms is mind boggling and the owner is a great bloke to talk to.
He had a nice buffalo stopper that had your name all over it at a reasonable price.
A beautiful underlever 8 bore double.

Bob - I did bid on an 8 bore Joseph Lang hammer double at an Australian Arms Auction some years ago . It was a nice example with a Jones underlever . I opened at the top of the estimated range and a phone bidder came in at miles above what I bid - I got nuked . Have bought quite a few nice rifles from Holts over the years. They are good to deal with .
