I recently bought a load of Safari/Hunting books from another forum member and after reading "Last Of the Few" by Tony Sanchez Arino; I am now on the hunt for more of his books to read.

If you have any books by him other than "Last of the Few" that you would like to sell, please send me a PM...... Especially looking for "Great African Calibers" & "Elephants, Ivory & Hunters" or any other titles centered around elephant hunting.

NOTE: I am looking for good reading material as I am not a collector of rare books.

There is a used Great African Calibers in good condition on Abe Books now for $89.99. I have a like new copy I bought new from Safari Press I believe in 2015 or 16. I read it during the following 2-3 months while I was working overseas. It has been in a book case since then, only being pulled out a couple of times for reference purposes.

deewayne, I am interested in information about Japie Schoeman an old time PH who was one of Tony`s hunting partners. Was he mentioned in '' Last of the Few ''?
You are right about collector books. On ebay most of Tony`s books are well more than $100 Oh, I just saw a picture of Tony and Japie, with a client, and a dead lion. The client had wounded the lion, which in turn c;harged them. It was only 1 m away when they shot; it then fell dead between Tony and Japie. I bet that story made one of Tony`s books. Wayne
