Good day sir,
On a rifle hunt, I can help you with all of these, but not on a bow hunt. All the best with your research.

Best Regards,

Dear @Hunt forever I’ll send you a personal message Sir

Hi Huntforever

If you are willing to hunt some with a rifle and some with a bow then I can most definitely assist you.
I will send you a DM.

Kind Regards
Juan Stander

vaalie with a bow would be an amazing and rewarding. Tha would definitely test you and your Ph’s patience.

I think only 5 Vaal Rheboks are registered in the bow kill category. Would be cool to add one more

Good luck on your journey.

I need 4 more of the tiny ten to finish it with my bow. Here’s my “Sharpe’s Greybok

How much time do you have?
That is a tough list to pull off on one trip.

Vaallie with the bow will be your hardest. Klippies sometimes can be found low by the roads, and if you know the area or rock they like to use as a look-out it’s possible to ambush them.

Assuming you’re substituting Dik-Dik out for Vaal Rehbok.

Blue Duiker can be hunted in blinds and the Grysbok will likely be at night with the use of a light. With enough time, you should be able to find one under 50yds for a shot with your bow.

Blue Duiker and Grysbuck wont be a problem with the bow. Klipspringer, depending on your capabilities, could be achievable as well.

To hunt a Vaal Rhebuck with the bow in their natural range, as has been said earlier, only 5 has been done in history on foot, and one of them is the brother of my head PH. We hunt quite a few rams yearly with rifle, and if you have never hunted them, its really difficult to explain. There is a reason why the Vaal Rhebuck is often used as the yardstick for difficult hunts in Africa.

Wow, thanks for all the help and feedback back. It’s extremely helpful to know what’s in store before you start a hunt. This sounds like my type of adventure!!

Marius is spot on regarding the Vaal Rhebuck. It can be done, but ....
It is the toughest hunt...

A Vaalie with a bow will certainly be a challenge.
Be prepared for many blown stalks and when you do get a shot, it will most likely be a long one.
Steep uphill, downhill and cross camber practice is vital.

Did you harvest a Vaal with your bow?

Phillip I was reviewing some of the auctions online and saw your Nubian Ibex hunt coming up this weekend. It also showed you have Addax and Axis deer. Is there a website I can go to and see the lodge, cost of animals and what is available? Thanks Mark

I really like that knife you're selling. It looks so similar to my original 1306 that has been around a long time. I can't spend that much but if you get to a point where you'd entertain offers let me know. Thx, James
