All, I’m in search of an original Ruger m77 recoil pad “red in color.”

Let me know if you have one!
Thanks!

I took one off a couple of years ago. Think I still have it. Will look. You want the original looks, I gather. The original function of said recoil pad could be easily reproduced by machining one from a piece of tungsten carbide. I will look over the next 24 hours for said pad and get back to you............FWB

Yes. Exactly like that, however this is not a Hawkeye but a 1970s m77. If it’s the same pad then fantastic!

Let's see what Bill comes up with before I take mine off. He is right though, that's more of a bumper than a recoil pad lol

By the way, Hogue makes replacement recoil pads that are red.

Hi Bob, how's things going in Wyong?. Down your way a couple of years back but haven't been in NSW since Ebor for the fishing. just getting over some nasty storms up here in Qld, seeing the sun for the first time in a few days. I'm going to NZ in the spring and hope to clean up a few buns while there and perhaps shake the spiders out of my old .303LE (currently owned by my BIL). Cheers Brian

Heard you may have load data for the 500 Jeffery,.....any info would be appreciated. Was thinking 535gr, but already had a response that the 570gr would be a better way to go, not sure why.
