In need of some 7x57 brass for myself and a buddy of mine. Prefer Hornady, Federal, or Norma if I could be so choosy . Thank you fellas.

If you’re not choosy

IMO, PPV brass is better quality than Federal.

I’ll check into it - thank you sir

+1 for PPU, and also look at Sellier & Bellot. Those seem to be the most easily available 7x57 in the current market, at least from a loaded ammo standpoint. I've been reloading a fair amount of 7x57 over the last two years, mostly with PPU cases; plus a number of Herters cases that I had sitting around. The PPU cases have been pretty good to work with, but have had issues with the Herters cases fitting into the shell holder on my reloading press properly. Many of them are just a hair too wide, and have to be pushed in.

+1 for S&B.

I think they’re like PPU, their name is difficult to pronounce and impossible to spell. If they were named “Smith Brass Co.” it wouldn’t stay on the shelf.

I took three years of French in school and later on lived amongst the Cajuns for a few years. Still can’t get it.
I guess that’s what acronyms are for!

Another + for PPU brass in the 7x57.
