I don't need two of them any longer. I'd like something different. A .416 Ruger maybe ? A heavy barrel rifle to play with in .260, 7-08 etc....maybe a WSM or a Mossberg 590 A1, or the 930 SPX....I love pistols too. Just figured I'd put this up and see if something tickles my fancy.

It is a 2007, so it has the black coating from the factory, no barrel band and no sissy brake.

If you want a 416 Ruger why not have your extra .375 Ruger rebored to .416?

Are the barrel profiles the same? You do mean literally drill the hole bigger? That I'm not familiar with.
Yep, like this guy does: http://www.35caliber.com/
I haven't personally used him, but I've heard good things, and there are other companies / gunsmiths out there as well.
I think the primary limitation is making sure there is enough meat left at the muzzle, but a phone call to Jesse at JES will answer any questions you have.

Not worth the $ typically. You are better off selling and then buy what you want. May be a wash or even better. There is a 416 ruger on GB right now. I would buy the 375 but as you know I already own one!

I would prefer a .416 Ruger African, but I'd take an Alaskan or Guide Gun. I will add cash I'd someone will trade me a .416
Do you have a cash price in mind, or are you strictly interested in trading it right now?

It was mostly trading I had in mind, but I would probably sell it. There is none on GB, and I'm not sure of value. PM me and I'll tell you what I have in it.

@Viral_SIGness another option might be to re-barrel the rifle to 416 Ruger. I re-barreled a 300 RUM to create my 404 Jeffery. Wait time to get a Krieger barrel was quite long, about 8 months. I used Dennis Olson in MT to do the gunsmithing. He did a great job at a reasonable price and did the work in a couple of months after receiving the barrel. I'd guess this option will cost you around $1k.

Hill Country Rifles offers a package deal for $1750 that would transform your 375 to a 416 Ruger and then some.
