Want To Buy Plains Caliber Double (8x57jrs, 300 H&H)? What have you got?

I’ve got the heavies covered from 500NE, 475#2, 500-416, and a .375 Chapins that I might be moving on. Looking for something in a good plains game caliber. Talked to Krieghoff and they can get me a set of barrels in 8x57JRS in two years. Anyone have anything interesting gathering dust?

Prefer smaller; I’ve got a Chapuis 375 that I might unload as the 500-416 can truly do everything but impala sized game. It’ll do that too obviously but seems a tad *ahem* heavy handed for such. Would love an 8x57jrs or even possibly a .303. Something with some age on it but in decent shape. German? French? Belgian? I have an Italian (V Bernardelli) already.

Serial #16377 made circa 1906, 28" barrels chopper lump, with very good chambers and bores (light scaling in the grooves).Dolls head with third fastener, unusual side clips on the barrels, on face and tight. Some pitting on the rear of the tubes. ¼ rib with one standing 3 folding leaves rear sight.

@AZDAVE, let’s not kid ourselves here, I mainly want one in a smaller caliber to round the collection out. The 500-416 is easily the one rifle I’d keep if had to divest all others as it truly can do for anything on the planet (and likely others too).
