Want To Buy Mauser Style rifle in 6.5x55 or 9.3x62

Looking for a Ruger Hawkeye African but will also consider other Mauser 98 derivatives chambered in either caliber. Prefer no side safety as I'll probably go with a 3 Position Wing safety and don't want a gap in the stock. Please let me know what you have and how much you'd like. Sights are a must for both calibers.

If you are going to restock it, you should check out Simpsons LTD. They have a lot of Mauser Sporters from the 1950’s for very good prices. Check out the Husqvarna Rifles. Many of the later ones actions were made by FN in Belgium.

I saw a number of custom 6.5x55 rifles on Cabelas used gun site. Several were built on Swedish Mausers. I would consider those to be far, far better than anything Ruger has made. (And I think highly of Ruger)

I have 2x 9.3x62s for sale. One is a ruger Hawkeye African in 9.3x62, the second is a custom Mauser in a custom composite stock with adjustable cheekpiece. The Mauser shoots really well. I don’t know if the ruger has ever been shot. Pm me if you’re interested.
