Well my son just got to add on to an already great year.I wish i had some of this kids luck but great to be there as he get to live it up.We went back to unit 13 in oct.The bad drought they had made for bad horn growth this year.We were going to hold out for a 350 class bull but after seeing what was out there and talking with alot of people any bull over 300 was a trophy this year.We had bulls bugling ever day out and past on a few.Was great as i got to call this bull in with other 3 bulls screaming there heads off.Called the bull right out to the middle of a meadow for my son to make a great 175yd shot on him.He is a 46" wide 6x6 scores around 330.How lucky can one kid get wins a free hunt here and then draws one of two tags for non resident youth in unit 13.

Thanks guys. He was shooting a T/C pro hunter 50 cal with a 120 grain blackhorn 209 powder a 250 grain shockwave bullet and cci primer. He loves shooting this gun and I guess for good reason.Since he has taken 2 good 6x6 now.Hoping to take the muzzlerloader next time we get to africa.

Thought about taking the Muzzleloader to Africa too, but didn't because of the hassle. Powder, etc.
I hope it becomes easier the next trip.

I have a bad feeling it will never get easier for us to get powder and primers for our muzzle loaders. If only Cabelas would open a store in Joburg.

looking for 300 h & h flanged ammo
Looking for shipping advice. I will be hunting in Limpopo in March, and was wanting to know a general idea of shipping costs to return my mounts to the US when completed. Air or sea? Only plains game hunting.

Good morning 7MAG. I have a NEW, never mounted, Leupold M8-4X Extended Eye Relief scope that I will sell you for $325 shipped to you. I was a Leupold rep for 12 years and this was always our preferred mounting for a lever gun, scout rifle style.

You’ve got an interesting screen name. Will the Thrill provided lots of great times for me as a lifelong Giants fan. Even though I never met him, a number of buddies either duck hunted or shared a dugout with him. He’s a great guy according to those guys. Cool screen name and if that’s your real name, it’s a great one.
