I have historically posted a pretty detailed recap of my hunts with my son each year and he has had some great ones. This year was no different in that regard but for any that read my earlier post of my deer this year my dads cancer diagnosis put a huge damper on our season and spare time to lay out our adventures just didn’t make the cut.
So here in short order is a brief recap of my son’s successes over the past year. All of these hunts occurred in Texas on either family and friends land or public land
2025 Birthday Javelina hunt one rifle kill one archery
2025 rifle deer
2025 public land hunt and yes those are two different scimitar oryx
2025 Whitetail 8 point
2025 aoudad
Duck / Pheasant hunt ( pen raised pheasant)
Hog
Kind of surprising but this is the only hog he shot this year
