Born from the heart of Africa’s rough beauty, Untamed Knives is the story of Vaughan and Ross Vosloo, two cousins who grew up immersed in the beauty and challenges of Africa. From the moment they could walk, the wilderness became their playground, their classroom, and their inspiration.

“Dangerous 6” - lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, hippo, and crocodile. Each of these animals demands respect and caution, and we’re honoring their power with a blade designed specifically for each species.

The Duggaboy Knife

If you had to carry only one knife, this is it. Designed to tackle almost any task, the Duggaboy will get the job done. Big enough to do meaningful work, but light
enough to not weigh you down, the Duggaboy features a robust yet fine blade geometry that makes short work of almost any cutting task.

L4528 stainless steel means it will stay sharp in the bush, and the brass bolsters and contoured tambotie wood handle ensures you will never lose your grip.

A tactical-carry, OD green kydex sheath guarantees the Duggaboy will always be close to hand, whether you choose to wear it vertically, horizontally, or even
pull-down.


The Crocodile

Designed to be all things to all people, the Croc performs almost all light cutting tasks with ease.
Long and skinny, to get into those tight-to-reach places, or simply to make easy clean cuts, the
Croc’s long sharp edge is a jack of all trades.

L4528 stainless steel ensures a clean, sharp blade, and rooibos wood scales accented with green husk
resin, makes for an attractive and durable knife. Complete with an OD green Kydex sheath and
tactical combat clip, the Croc is there when you need it to be.

The Hippo

Designed specifically as a skinning knife, the Hippo is made to get the job done. Whether its a soft-skinned deer or antelope right up to the thickest of hides, like its namesake, the Hippo.

Made from L4528 stainless steel, mopane natural wood scales and accented with aged bone paper micarta. This is a beautiful knife made to perform.
Complete with a coyote brown kydex sheath with a tactical belt clip, it will always be at your side to do the real work after your successful hunt.


The Leopard

Designed to be the one knife that you can have with you at all times, whether its on your belt, in your pocket, or even the glove compartment of your car.
Made from N690 stainless steel with recessed Purple Wood scales and stainless steel screws, this knife is made to be ready to hand at all times and small enough to carry concealed or open.
Paired with a sleek, elegant, black Kydex sheath, the Leopard will always be ready to assist you.

The Shumba

Inspired by the ‘Lion Killer’ knife made famous by the true story of Harry Wolhuter, this knife is our modern day take on a timeless classis.
Made from N690 stainless steel with African Wild Olive wood scales and carbon Fibre pins, this knife is made to be fast, light and deadly. Complete with a desert tan kydex sheath, the Shumba will always be ready to defend you.


The Jumbo

The last of the Dangerous Six, the biggest and the meanest! Just like a real Jumbo, this knife carries serious weight and intent.
Made from 5mm (3/16″) N690 Stainless Steel and with a full flat grind, the Jumbo is a powerful cutter,
able to take on almost any task. Leadwood handle scales accented with hand-fluted faux ivory (resin composite) set this knife apart as not just a workhorse but a thing of beauty.
Complete with a dark grey kydex sheath and tactical belt clip, the Jumbo will always be ready for
whatever you have in mind.

Each month, we release a new exclusive knife model, all meticulously designed for hunters and outdoorsmen.

The Fish Eagle
First Edition of the 'Birds of Prey' collection of linerlock folding knives.

Designed as a larger folding knife, it’s up to almost any task that you’re reasonably
going to throw at it.
L4528 stainless steel ensures a clean, sharp blade, and rooibos wood scales, contrasted beautifully with faux ivory resin bolsters make for an attractive and premium knife.
Heat-blued grade 5 titanium liners keep the knife lightweight, and caged ceramic bearings ensure smooth operation.

For every one of these Axes sold, we will be giving something back to the community!

That’s right, by buying an axe, you will be directly supporting our Rangers, Game Scouts, trackers, skinners, and their families. Whether it's school shoes for the kids, food for the families, or even clothing and other needed supplies directly to the guys, we will make sure that a portion of proceeds goes to where it can do the most good to help protect our wildlife and wildlife areas.
These Axes were made, not by Ross in our workshop, but rather, by a traditional craftsman in the bush, using traditional methods and materials, meaning you are getting the genuine deal!

This is a full custom knife experience. After purchase, Ross Vosloo will be directly in
touch with you to find out exactly what YOU want. Then he will make YOUR knife just for
YOU.


Custom Folding Knife

Please note that this custom folding knife slot is for a liner lock design folding knife, with
numerous design options and choices of steel for the blade. There are also a myriad of handle materials for you to choose from.
As this is a full custom build, please note that lead time will be between 6 and 8 weeks.
During the build, you will be updated on progress and shown how your knife is coming along, so you are part of its creation from start to finish.


Custom Knife – 5″ Blade

Please note that this custom knife slot is for a blade no bigger than 5 inches, out of a choice of various high carbon steels as well as stainless steels. The knife will be made using a full-tang construction method.
There are also a myriad of handle materials for you to choose from, as well as numerous
design options, all of which will be up to you. The knife will come with either a Kydex sheath
or a custom leather sheath made to suit the knife, depending on your choice.

As this is a full custom build, please note that lead time will be between 6 and 8 weeks.
During the build, you will be updated on progress and shown how your knife is coming along, so you are part of its creation from start to finish.


Damascus Knife – 5″ Blade

Please note that this custom knife slot is for a blade no bigger than 5 inches, hand-forged.
by Ross out of high carbon Damascus steel, comprised of 1075 and 75ni8 steels. Choice of patterns include random, ladder, raindrop, twist, and low layer wave.

There are also a myriad of handle materials for you to choose from, as well as numerous design options, all of which will be up to you.
The knife will come with either a kydex or leather sheath made to suit the knife.

As this is a full custom build, please note that lead time will be between 6 and 8 weeks.
During the build, you will be updated on progress and shown how your knife is coming along, so you are part of its creation from start to finish.
