U.S. Firearms count

It is a documented fact that gun owners are forgetful people. During WWII 4000 Swedes volunteered to help the Finns stave off invaders. In the end when their efforts were proving to be futile they left the country and all 4,000 forgot their rifles.

They could use Stalin's idea just starve everyone.
Having made it in the oil industry through 8 years of Obama, they ain’t going to starve me out! Lol

did the Swedes really need the guns?
They did not have 30 men losses and that against Stalin's army............

Foxi, I have no first hand knowledge of this occurrence. When I first read about it my conclusions were that the men themselves and or their officers thought that the rifles might be put to good use by the Finnish that were still in the fight. I have never seen anything that would indicate that the forgetfulness of the soldiers was ever pursued by the Swedish government. As to the number of Swedes lost in this action, I'm totally clueless, but with 4,000 men in active combat, I's sure there were some. Hopefully one of our Swedish members will see this and provide additional details.
