Trijicon RMR Mount for the CZ-550

I'd give them a call. When I purchased the one for the PH, they were also showing out of stock, and my PH called and somehow, they had them in stock but not reflecting on their website.

Thread 'Reflex sights on CZ 550 and Bruno 602 Rifles'

I have found a practical solution to mount reflex type sight to CZ550 and Brunos 602 rifles in big bore calibers.
For those of you who are interested please have a look at the attached PDF file with the idea behind the Apex Predator mount.

I didn't want to have the sight mounted on the action as with an extra base would make it higher and not natural to use with a straight stock and so investigated what can be done. In the end I think this is a solution for all CZ fans to have a reflex sight mounted.

Let me know what your thoughts are.

AHR is the best. Wayne is still producing parts. Just not working on conversion anymore. Give AHR a call.
The fixed is in stock. The QD shows out of stock. But Wayne will return your call if he doesn’t answer. Talked to him about 3 days ago.

I did end up calling Wayne, which I hate to do because he is semi-retired. He returned my call promptly and sold me a quick detach mount. Super nice guy, too bad he isn't upgrading rifles anymore

The AHR QD is the cleanest, most reliable choice for keeping that RMR sitting right where you want it, low, fast, and repeatable. On a CZ-550 it turns the rifle into a real "point and shoot" setup without ruining the classic lines too much. Just torque everything to spec, use blue Loctite on the screws, and check zero after a few rounds.

I like the replacement sight option that Frederik posted, clean and neat. also out of the way, if you carry your rifle in one hand, it naturally grips around the the front bridge and any red dot sight will mess with that.

I have a 550 and have used warne medium rings with a s and b 8 x 56 and currently a 2.5-10x 50 so I would go for mediums. They do not do lows as far I'm aware. I assume this is because a lower mounted scope will foul the bolt handle.

good rings I reckon. Very solid, although awkward to level the scope properly but can be done with a bit of patience.
