I went out with my new MTM High Low Shooting Table this afternoon and I was very impressed with how comfortable and convenient it made sighting in while standing. I was shooting a 458 WM after installing a RMR. I placed a filled heavy shooting bag I always call a "Bulls Bag" on top. When not shooting it rested in the bag and was very convenient for adjusting the RMR, Plenty of room on the table for ammo and tool kit. I just left it at rest when walking down and marking the target,

The top screws on and off, and the legs collapse. It has a shoulder strap as well that I may use in a few weeks for mobile prairie doggin. I was shooting in a field and could use my boot to stand on the tabs at the base to sink in the spiked feet a couple inches to add stability.

I practice on sticks but this was absolutely perfect for sighting in. Check it out if you are looking for a compact, light, and convenient shooting platform for shooting the big boy calibers while standing. I paid $130 delivered last month.

Looks like surveyor's transit tripod with half an ironing board attached. If they made it a bit longer enough to rest elbow on it, that would probably be better. I see transit tripods showing up all the time in second hand stores. Might try making one of these.

I also use one for sighting in my hard kickers. An MTM rest will fir neatly on top, if you prefer that to a heavy bag.

Mark Ouellette is ahead of his time. Here is his rest on top of a survey tripod. A nice compromise between a sitting bench and shooting sticks.

This is all good. The plastic bench top I use came from a similar portable shooting bench. Mine is a different brand but by gosh, it looks the same as this one!

I switched to a surveyor tripod to increase stability. These tripods are available on facebook marketplace, swap meets, garage sales on so on for less than $50 each. One could make a top for a surveyor tripod out of 3/4" plywood...

Mark, you missed your big chance to patent your version!
