I also would value the hunt itself, hunting with your friend should be only a bonus, not the deciding factor.

That being said, when I decided on hunting my buffalo, I did not choose the cheapest offer, but the outfitter´s and PH´s reputation. Happy I did that !

I would go with your friend. There are few bargains on buffalo hunting. Great place I am told.
