Good morning,

I am thinking about selling a custom .450 Rigby Rimless -
Weatherby MkV lefty action
Shilen barrel
Synthetic Armtec stock with Kwik (mercury) recoil reducer
30mm Warne quick detachable scope mounts - no Scope

I have not used the rifle for its intended purpose and prefer my .375 H&H for everyday use.
I have no idea where to start or whether there would be any interest and what a reasonable price would be?

I take it you are in South Africa.

Current market, R30 000 (depending if Dies and cases etc are involved - then a bit more)

Thanks for that - I forgot to mention RCBS dies and about 80 cases, 60 norma and 20 allsorts.

Then probably R35000+

Unfortunately in SA people are not fond of the idea of paying a lot of money for a Synthetic Stocked Rifle, and yours is a bit of an odd ball now with the action the wrong way around. Also, you never make all your money back with a custom built rifle this side...

Thanks again,
That gives me a good idea, as a lefty - I am used to buying whatever becomes available, not necessarily what I want.

You are welcome to Private Message me when you are ready, then I can put it on the Bigbore Association Whatsapp Group for you.

Thanks, will do

I say for sure without some pic.

Here are pictures of the rifle and accessories - the scope is NOT included.
